University Residences

University-owned or managed accommodation is guaranteed for inbound exchange students studying for the full academic year, starting in September, provided they apply before the accommodation deadline.

The University cannot guarantee accommodation for students studying for a single semester. While a limited number of university-owned rooms may be available, most semester-only students will need to find accommodation in the private sector.

If you are offered university accommodation, your reservation confirmation will include a legally binding contract. Please ensure you read the contract carefully before signing and returning it by the specified deadline.

Private Accommodation

Students attending for a shorter period, including a single semester, should explore private accommodation options.

We strongly recommend arranging private accommodation before arriving in Exeter. Further information is available from the University's Student Information Desk.
