The Economics Department's Pedagogy Subject focuses on advancing research in economics education and the evaluation of both established and new teaching and learning methodologies. The subject group regularly organizes seminars and group reading sessions, dedicated to promoting pedagogical advancements.
Our goal is to explore innovative classroom studies and curriculum design strategies that address crucial education research questions, and to embrace the adoption of best practices in economics and student education with the aim of improving our teaching and pastoral care, improve student learning, enhance engagement and employability, and address equality, diversity, and inclusion issues in our classrooms.
