Employer events and skills sessions
During your time at the University of Exeter Business School you’ll have the opportunity to take part in a varied programme of careers events that will build your employability credentials.
Many of these events are run by leading graduate employers with support from our own highly qualified and experienced careers consultants and employability advisers.
We encourage you to take part in as many of these events as you can, to equip yourself with the necessary skills and tools that you’ll need for the highly competitive job market.
Typical employer and alumni-led events include:
- Mock interviews & mock phone interviews
- Industry-specific sessions led by employers and professionals
- Business games
- Drop-ins - a chance to meet employers informally
- 'day@' - a site visit to an employer

Career management sessions for international students are also available where tutors provide language development teaching in addition to the careers skills required. Sessions cover a similar range of topics to the "How to" workshops.
