Professor David Dose
Department at the University of Exeter Business School, leads the Business Strategy and Marketing Group. Formerly associated with Aston Business School and universities in Germany, he focuses his research on the efficacy of marketing strategies, emphasizing causal attributions to guide decision-making for policy makers and marketing managers. His interests encompass the nexus of customer-technology interactions, sustainability, and emerging technologies, seeking novel methodologies to enhance marketing insights. He has published extensively in premier marketing journals, including the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Consumer Psychology, and Journal of Service Research.
David collaborates with diverse industries, such as services, retail, and media, and he has developed and instructs an MSc module on Marketing Analytics. Holding an MSc with Distinction from the University of Koblenz and a summa cum laude PhD from the University of Jena, where he was awarded for his exceptional doctoral dissertation, he has also been a Visiting Scholar at Florida State University and is recognized as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
