Professor Erno Tornikoski
Erno's research focuses on applying psychological and sociological theories, as well as qualitative and quantitative methods, to the realm of entrepreneurship. He is particularly interested in understanding how innovative individuals translate entrepreneurial ideas into valuable new activities.
Within the domain of entrepreneurship, Erno has a specific fascination with gestation activities, decision-making logics, the concept of control, and conducting qualitative process studies. Moreover, he is currently exploring new avenues of research that interconnect entrepreneurship with subjects like sustainable value creation, community-based resilience, and frugal innovations.
Erno's impactful research findings have been published in prestigious journals, including the Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of Small Business Management, and International Small Business Journal, among others.
