Overview

Lindsay joined the Degree Apprenticeship team in 2023 and lectures on the Professional Practice modules. Lindsay has been a lecturer for 12 years at the University of Plymouth, and more recently at Plymouth Marjon University. Having taught on a whole range of modules and topics within their business schools from HRM, Organisational Behaviour, and Equality and Diversity has meant that a range of skills for teaching a wide scope of topics has been developed. During this time, a passion for teaching research methods has emerged.

Other roles have included being a Specialist Mentor which provides support for students with mental health issues, learning difficulties and neurodiverse students to attend and thrive at University. This has developed coaching, mentoring, and skills development expertise.

Combining teaching and student support has ensured that skills, knowledge and ways of working have been developed and practiced so that the best support can be provided in the teaching of Professional Practice.

Teaching
