Dr Igarashi studied Finance (asset pricing) for his BA and MA Economics at the University of Tokyo. He also studied macroeconomics at Penn State University and obtained a PhD in 2012.
He has written essays on matching models of money and labour-search models. He is also interested in teaching a board range of subjects including math, statistics, economics and finance.

Dr Igarashi’s research interests include matching models of money, labour-search models, and asset pricing. One of his essays studies the welfare effect of hiring through worker networks, using the Mortensen-Pissarides type of labour-search model.
He is interested in teaching a board range of subjects including maths, statistics, economics and finance.
