Overview

Dr. Aicha Kharazi joined the University of Exeter Business School in 2024 as a postdoctoral research impact fellow. Prior to this, she held postdoctoral positions at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and the Global Systems Institute. She completed her Ph.D. in Economics and Finance at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

Her primary research work is in the area of macroeconomics, with a focus on the role of collateral, borrowing, and wealth inequality. Her secondary research interests extend to understanding recent developments in household savings, as well as studying the impact of business closure orders on labor markets.
