Wellbeing, Inclusion and Culture
The department of Economics is committed to fostering a culture and work environment where staff and students feel they are empowered to voice their opinions, have a direct impact on their available choices, and enjoy a sense of belonging to realise their full potential regardless of their background or any protected characteristics (age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation).
We aim to achieve this through evidence-based discussions and actions (for instance, using workforce data and surveys), and through events that promote norms of respect and inclusion in line with the core University values. As part of the University of Exeter Business School, we are proud to hold a school Athena Swan Bronze Award.
Please get in touch if you would like to discuss anything related with Inclusion:
