Module description
With a clear focus on innovation and continuous improvement, this delivery area will require the apprentice to plan, organise and manage resources to deliver required project outcomes. The apprentice will need to monitor progress, anticipate and address barriers, identify risk and their mitigation. This area will explore relevant project management tools and encourage apprentices to consider them within their own organisational context.
Module aims - intentions of the module
This module will introduce the key concepts of effective project management and contextualise these with the apprentices to enable them to consider the application of these within their own organisation. The module will enable apprentices to identify and explore a project idea and then to construct a well-defined project proposal.
The module will consider the end point assessment throughout the module delivery to ensure that apprentices are prepared for and fully aware of all end point assessment requirements.
