International Partnership Direct Entry Students Optional Module Selection

Whichever programme you are following you will be automatically put on the compulsory modules listed.
(Compulsory modules are ones that you MUST take)
You can then choose optional modules, these have to be taken from the list that you can download from below.

Familiarise yourself with your Programme structure –
Year 2
- BSc Accounting and Finance
- NUFE -30 optional credits in Term 1 and 15 optional credits in Term 2, with 15 possible Level 1 modules.
- GDUFE - 30 optional credits in Term 1 and 15 optional credits in Term 2, with (no further Level 1 modules).
- Lixin Metro - 30 optional credits in Term 1 and 15 optional credits in Term 2, with 15 possible Level 1 modules.
- BSC Business Economics
- Lixin Metro and GDUFE- 60 optional credits with no further Level 1 modules.
- BSc Economics and Finance
- GDUFE No further optional modules
Please note that you can only request to add optional modules from Level 2 in the spring, to add Level 1 optional modules you will need to wait until September.
Year 3
- BSc Accounting and Finance
- GDUFE - 60 optional credits (max.15 credits level 2 module)
- Lixin Metro and + NUFE - 75 optional credits
- BSc Business Economics
- Lixin Metro and GDUFE- 120 credits of optional modules, 30 out of this 120 credits should be Economics modules (not to include BUS3001 if you decide to take this module).
- BSc Economics and Finance
- GDUFE - 75 optional credits (max. 15 credits level 2 module)
Please note that you can only request to add optional modules from Level 3 in the spring, to add Level 2 optional modules you will need to wait until September.
Please check the list carefully for pre-requisites, co-requisites and non-requisites
Some modules are condonable. You can fail up to 30 credits, as long as your average is over 40%, if a module is Condonable. If it is non-condonable then you MUST pass it.

If you are currently studying at GDUFE, Lixin Metro or NUFE please use the forms below to make your Optional Module requests:
- Lixin Metro Optional Module Selection Form Opens 9.00am 22nd March 2024 and closes at 12.00pm (Midday) 5th April 2024
- GDUFE Optional Module Selection Form Opens 9.00am 1st April 2024 and closes at 12.00pm (Midday) 15th April 2024
- NUFE Optional Module Selection Form Opens 9.00am 15th March 2024 and closes at 12.00pm (Midday) 2nd April 2024
Current Business School Students going into Year 3 or Year 4
If the OMS form does not allow you to add a module that you wish to take, because the system does not recognise the pre-requisite that you have taken while at your previous university, please complete the form below.
You will need to put the temporary module that you have chosen, then add the module that you would like to take in its place.
Opens 9.00am 18th March 2024, you must submit and confirm your selections by 12 noon on Thursday 28th March.
Once the OMS has closed, and checks have been made to ensure that you have met the module requirements, your record will then be updated.
