Overview

Steph joined the Business School as a Degree Mentor in August 2021. Prior to this she worked within the private apprenticeships sector, specialising in financial services, following a successful career in the financial services industry for 6 years.

Steph is passionate about providing pastoral support and coaching people to gain the most from their experience wile on their apprenticeship programme. She believes apprenticeships are an invaluable opportunity for career progression and self-development.

Qualifications

Steph studied with the International Compliance Association and achieved a Level 4 in Risk and Compliance.

Career

2 years in the education sector working for levy funded apprenticeship organisations. 6 years in retail banking as an apprentice, gaining industry recognised qualifications in Providing Financial Services and International Risk and Compliance.

In the last 2 years of retail banking, Stephanie raised over £30k for local and national charities as a charity partner.

Currently volunteering with Guide Dogs UK, helping to train and develop puppies into becomming life changers for those with sight loss in the UK.
