Overview

I joined UEBS in 2018 after teaching at Plymouth University. My role there was helping students develop their employability skills, and teaching with a focus in the practical application of theory in business.  Alongside that role, I’ve spent 25 years working as an independent HRD consultant with a focus on Management Development, Leadership Coaching, Specialist Recruitment (including graduate campaigns), Social Enterprise Development and Managing Change. I have worked with a range of organisations from PLCs to Metropolitan Borough Councils, the Civil Service, Charities, SMEs and Social Enterprises.

I have also had a parallel career in horticulture, with a focus on community food growing, and social and therapeutic horticulture. Don't judge me for grimy nails and gnarly hands!

I am Module Convenor for BEP2040 Strategic Concepts for Business, BEP3050 Future Facing Dissertation and BEP2110 Workplace Wellbeing at our Penryn Campus, and I occasionally support other modules in the Management Department at Streatham.  I'm also liaison Programme Director for BSc Politics and Management, and I support  Dr David Monciardini in nurturing the relationship betweem UEBS and the Law School for the LLB (Law with Business) programme
