Overview
Louise Tilbury joined Exeter University in September 2016 as a Practitioner Research Fellow. She is studying for her PhD within the Management Department on the topic of Women on Boards and Board Dynamics. Over the last three years, Louise has taught the Personal Financial Management module for the Economics department and Business and Society module for the Management department.

Career
For over 10 years, Louise has been working as a freelance public policy consultant in the South West of England. She has been involved in a wide variety of innovative projects, from report and bid writing to business planning and delivering the nitty gritty. Most notably she consulted with Plymouth College of Art’s successful bid to start a Free School teaching through creative arts and project managed the opening of the school in just one year.
2001-6 Louise worked as a Senior Policy Analyst at HM Treasury, on work incentives and poverty analysis, education and productivity policy. Prior to that she worked at the Department for Education for three years and at Saigon Children's Chairty for one year.
