Overview
After graduating from the University of Natal, Greg entered the corporate world in South Africa and was fast tracked into senior positions in both Marketing & Finance. During this period, he completed an MBA at the University of Cape Town, winning the Alan Gray award for top Strategy student.
At 30, Greg returned to his native Zimbabwe to follow his entrepreneurial instincts and created a distribution, wholesale and retail business now present in 13 countries across Africa. He has also invested in an African restaurant chain and a UK jewellery distribution business.
At 50, Greg decided to step back from his corporate operational duties to follow his real passion - teaching with a view to "giving back" – and after completing a Strategic Marketing course at Harvard, joined the University of Exeter at Penryn in 2020, where in his first year of teaching was nominated for both the Inspirational Teaching and Extra Mile awards.
