Overview

Neha Deopa joined the University of Exeter in 2023. Prior to this, Neha was awarded The Swiss National Science Foundation Mobility Fellowship and was based at The Aix Marseille School of Economics. She received her PhD in Economics in 2021 from The Graduate Institute, Geneva (IHEID).

Neha’s research is at the intersection of environmental economics and political economy. She also studies environmental decision-making under uncertainty. Her current work explores the impact of social institutions, specifically cultural preferences and belief systems, on resource extraction and management.
