Overview
Laura Muñoz Blanco is an applied economist. She joined the University of Exeter Business School in 2023 after receiving her Ph.D. in Economics at Trinity College Dublin (Ireland).
Laura’s research focuses on understanding the consequences of forced displacement and generating pieces of evidence on the interventions that could mitigate its effects. She is currently working on three main areas: intra-household dynamics, social cohesion, and health.

Career
Between 2018 and 2022, Laura worked as a consultant leading research projects at the United Nations (UN) in Honduras and Costa Rica. Before starting her Ph.D she worked as a Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist at the UN (Honduras) and as a consultant at the OECD (France).
