Overview

Dr Bill Peng joined the University in 2006. He currently serves as the Associate Dean for MSc Programmes in the Business School, managing a diverse and evolving portfolio of postgraduate-taught programmes. Previously, he served as the Head of Department of Accounting (2015-19), Director of Education in Accounting (2012-2014), and Programme Director for MSc Accounting and Finance (2008-2011). Bill is the academic lead for the Business School’s undergraduate 2+2 articulation and postgraduate 4+1 progression programmes with overseas partners.

Prior to joining academia, Bill worked in financial services audit. Bill is a CFA® charterholder. He currently teaches modules in Corporate Finance, and has also taught Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and MSc dissertation modules. Although Bill is on the education and scholarship (E&S) track, he has research interests in market-based accounting and equity valuation.
