Overview

Alison Legood is an Associate Professor of Organisational Psychology at the University of Exeter Business School. Alison joined the Business School in September 2018 as a senior lecturer. Prior to this she held a position at Aston Business School. Her research focuses on relational leadership and trust. Specifically, she investigates the trust dynamics of leader-follower relationship. Alison has published her work in outlets such as the Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior and the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology. Alison is a Director of Postgraduate Research Programmes.

Research projects

Alison is currently working on a broad range of projects with collaborators from both the UK and worldwide. Her main research focus is on the topic of trust and leadership however she also works on broader topics such as mindfulness, creativity and psychological entitlement.

Alison currently supervises two PhD students and one DBA student.
