Dr Zhichao (April) Li

Dr Zhichao (April) Li joined the University of Exeter Business School as a Lecturer in Finance and Accounting in September 2023. She is an ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) affiliate. She obtained her PhD in Accounting from Durham University and her Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick. She received a Best-in-Track paper award at the 35th annual conference of the Academy of Finance, a best paper award at the 8th Indonesian Finance Association International Conference “Capital Market and Securities Digital Transformation: the Future and Challenges of Digital Assets” in conjunction with the 45th Indonesia Capital Market Anniversary. Her papers have been published in prestigious international journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, and International Review of Financial Analysis. She has also published several book chapters with world-renowned publishers and organizations, including Springer, World Scientific, and the Asian Development Bank.
