Yogendra's research focuses on analytical modelling, econometric modelling, artificial intelligence, and optimisation in the area of supply chain management, (re)manufacturing, and business analytics. He has published in world-leading journals, including the European Journal of Operational Research and Business Strategy and the Environment. He is affiliated with the Centre for Simulation, Analytics, and Modelling, and acts as an Adjunct Lecturer to the Department of Operations and Analytics, University of Exeter Business School.

 

Yogendra has recently completed his PhD under the supervision of Prof Stephen M. Disney from the University of Exeter Business School, with the University of Exeter Teaching Studentship Award. He also holds an MRes in Management Studies with Distinction and Business School Commendation from the University of Exeter Business School, under the supervision of Prof Disney and Dr Okechukwu Okorie, an MSc in Astronautics and Space Engineering from Cranfield University, and a BTech (undergraduate degree) in Mechanical Engineering with the Chancellor's Medal for securing first rank in the university across all faculties and schools consisting over 10,000 students, the University Gold Medal for securing first rank in the School of Engineering and Technology, and the Certficate of Merit for securing first rank in the Department of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering, from Sharda University. 

 

He comes with five years of University teaching experience to the MBA, postgraduate, and undergraduate cohorts, and four years of hands-on industry experience. His commitment to teaching has been recognised with the University of Exeter Above & Beyond Award, and collegiality has been recognised with the University of Exeter Business School Dean's PGR Commendation Award. 

 

His industrial clients and collaborators include Halfords (UK), Infosys (USA), Ceva Logistics (USA), Asahi Shimbun (Japan), DVLA, Govt of the UK, NHS (Scotland), and Airbus Defence and Space (UK), on a NASA-ESA mission to set up a space-based gravitational wave observatory, LISA Constellation Mission; planned launch 2035. LISA is often termed the most ambitious scientific undertaking by mankind and is planned to be the largest man-made structure in space. He actively works with senior researchers at leading institutions, including the University of Manchester (UK), University of Texas at Dallas (USA),  Ohio State University (USA), Birmingham University (UK), Surrey University (UK), Virginia Tech (USA), University of Tasmania (Australia), and the Aoyama Business School (Japan).
