Dr Rumana Huq

Dr Rumana Huq is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the University of Exeter Business School, joined in 2023. She is also the Program Director for the BSc Applied Retail and Commercial Banking program. Rumana has over 16 years experiences of teaching, academic curriculum development and quality assurance in HE. She brings an experienced global perspective and expertise in teaching, curriculum development, quality enhancement, leadership, teamwork, networking, student support and advising.
Rumana’s research interest focuses on the role of women and gender diversity in various aspects of corporate finance and corporate governance. Rumana describes herself to be friendly, communicative, progressive and an avid traveller.
