Sue has built a diverse career in healthcare since 1991, both in the NHS and independent sector. During her management career, she completed a CMI approved programme in Health Management and as a mature student, trained as a Diagnostic Radiographer and later specialised in MRI.
Her experience of balancing work, life, and studies informs her approach to mentoring and education. Since 2019, Sue has been teaching and mentoring at the University of Exeter, initially in Medical Imaging and currently with the Business School.
Drawing upon her extensive clinical, leadership and managerial experience along with an understanding of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Sue is passionate about supporting and educating reflective practice and work-based learning.
Currently Sue's roles within the Business School are Associate Lecturer (Academic Mentor) for CMDA apprentices & Mary Seacole Programme Co-Facilitator.
