Dr Onyekachi Onuoha is a lecturer in Project Management at the Business School,  Faculty of Environment, Science and Economy, University of Exeter, where he inspires students and equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to manage projects, programmes and portfolios as well as lead national and international business operations. He has lectured in Universities in the UK and internationally, including the University of Bedfordshire, Regents University London, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Benue State University, among others. Onyekachi is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and currently sits on the Volunteer Delivery Group of the Association for Project Management (APM), which coordinates all the volunteer activities across the chartered project management professional body. He is a Chartered Project Professional of APM, which demonstrates that he has achieved the highest standard of expertise and has proven exceptional project capabilities, through a defined level of technical knowledge, professional practice, and ethical behaviour. With both industry and academic experience, he has expertise in driving outcomes and benefits of projects, programmes and portfolios. His empirical research outputs have helped to significantly solve industry-based problems and shape public policy. His research interest spans across project management, strategic management, social development, AI and business management, and transformative learning. He prioritises excellent leadership in organisations to drive benefits realisation. He has great leadership skills and his training in the Public Leaders Programme at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, has further broadened his competence in leadership. He is a full member of the Association for Project Management. He has a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Salford, Manchester and a PhD in Cooperative Economics and Management.
