Dr Onyekachi Onuoha is a lecturer in Project Management and the programme director of the MSc Project Management (Online) at the Business School, University of Exeter, where he inspires students and equips them with the relevant knowledge and skills. He has lectured in several Universities in the UK and internationally, including the University of Bedfordshire, Regents University London, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Benue State University, among others. Onyekachi is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), a member of the British Academy of Management (BAM), the Association for Project Management (APM) and a certified management and business educator of the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS). He is a Chartered Project Professional of APM, which demonstrates that he has achieved the highest standard of expertise and has proven exceptional project capabilities, through a defined level of technical knowledge, professional practice, and ethical behaviour. He is a judge of the APM Education and Research Awards and has served 2 years on the Volunteer Delivery Group of the Association for Project Management (APM), which coordinates all the volunteer activities across the chartered project management professional body. With both industry and academic experience, he has expertise in driving outcomes and benefits of projects, programmes and portfolios. His empirical research outputs have helped to significantly solve industry-based problems and shape public policy. His research interests span across project management, strategic management, social development, AI, business management, and transformative learning. He prioritises excellent leadership in organisations to drive benefits realisation. He has great leadership skills and his training in the Public Leaders Programme at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, has further broadened his competence in leadership. He holds a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Salford, Manchester and a PhD in Cooperative Economics and Management.
