Jaclyn Hiebert

My journey has taken me all over the world. Due to my love of travel, I have participated in international exchanges and internships throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, studying in Spain, the U.K., South Korea, Japan, and Denmark. Through these experiences, I not only enhanced my existing Spanish-speaking skills, but also had the opportunity to learn new languages and cultures.

As a "Jaclyn"-of-all-trades, I bring a diverse skill set to all projects I do. While coming from an international business/consulting background, I have since developed extensive digital marketing expertise. In my career, I have been continuously honing the skills learned from these experiences by working across a diverse set of industries, ranging from the non-profit Plastic Oceans Canada (now Mind Your Plastic) and Business Link, to Calgary-based startup Lumiio Inc. At the heart of this journey, it's about following your passions. This extends to my volunteer experience, such as my recent involvement as a Y7 Youth Delegate, deliberating on economic policies with international counterparts at the 2025 G7.

As my journey continues, I am proud to be currently contributing my skillset as an PhD in Management student at the University of Exeter. My past experiences have informed my research topic by combining my interests in sustainability, marketing, and international business.
