Sustainable Futures
Appointed in 2023, Hollie’s role as Lecturer in Applied Entrepreneurship is to support students as they learn the practical dimensions of various models of Entrepreneurship, including how to effectively use models of start-up, acceleration and incubation.
An entrepreneurial-oriented lecturer, with extensive experience leading innovative learning pathways and experiences in Higher Education and Executive Education. Transitioned from successfully running own business into Innovation & Entrepreneurship teaching, with an additional focus on knowledge exchange that can be utilised as a strategic resource in developing partnerships and revenue for the university. Building on an Entrepreneurial background – establishing high tech aerospace start up in 2010.
Working across both the Penryn and Streathem campuses and focusing on developing experiential learning opportunities, innovative play and teaching spaces through her practice. As part of the wider Business Team managing relationships with an extensive network of regional SMEs, built up over more than 10 years of regional innovation projects and European growth funding. Retaining and levering industrial relationships to help colleagues build impactful research projects and secure mutually beneficial partnerships for The Business School.

Director - Innovation & Entrepreneurship Minor (Penryn) - a pathway of study across all disciplines, focused on designing and delivering workshops with flipped-classroom learning opportunities and applying contemporary practices in Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
Academic Lead Future17 Module - Students from around the world tackle real-life sustainability challenges as part of a global experiential learning programme. Future17 is bringing together 250 students from across five continents to work on a host of real-time issues and opportunities focused on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). An innovative, cross discipline module at the heart of University of Exeter transformative Strategy 2030 whilst maintaining relationships and working on innovative higher education ideas with QS.
Trained facilitator of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method , used to engage with businesses and students in learning in a different way.

Executive Education Teaching
Help 2 Grow Programme, Lecturer – supporting and lecturing on four cohorts, for the government funded 12-week programme for SMEs. Leading across the different modules, including leadership and management. Supporting clients face to face and online, and creating a community of support and learning.
Circular Economy Masterclass, Executive Coach - working with colleagues in Business School’s Centre for Circular Economy, to develop the skills and understanding to successfully introduce Circular Economy principles into organisations and close the implementation gap.
ARUP Executive Coach – helping participants learn how to apply the principles and tools of Systems Thinking to practical situations they encounter in their work at Arup. Coaching groups of senior level staff from around the world.
