Felix Wilson is a passionate educator with extensive experience in accounting and taxation, specialising in UK and international taxation. He joined the University of Exeter in 2019 as a Casual Worker and progressed to a Postgraduate Teaching Associate role in 2020 while pursuing his PhD. Over the past five years, he has actively engaged in research and teaching within the Business School, developing a deep enthusiasm for education and student engagement.

 

Felix holds a BA in Accounting and Finance, an MSc in Accounting and Taxation, and an MRes in Global Political Economy. He is completing his PhD in Accountancy at the University of Exeter, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). His research focuses on environmental taxation, fiscal citizenship, and the intersection of taxation with attitudes towards the environment.

 

Passionate about teaching, Felix has developed and delivered undergraduate and postgraduate modules across taxation, business law, financial management, and management accounting. He is committed to innovative and interactive teaching methods, integrating techniques such as Lego Serious Play and Playmobil Pro to create engaging and dynamic learning experiences for students.

 

In January 2025, Felix began his role as a Lecturer in Accounting at the University of Exeter, contributing to the delivery of accounting modules across the Business School’s apprenticeship programs.
