Zahra is a lecturer in management - BSM subgroup. Prior to joining the University of Exeter, she worked at Newcastle University, Birkbeck, University of London, and Kingston University where she taught consumer behaviour, organisational behaviour, marketing strategy, and international business modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Her PhD research explored responsible technology use and how modern consumers are reclaiming control over their digital life. She is predominantly a qualitative researcher with a focus on netnography but has experience using big data tools to scrape and analyse large datasets.
