Mrs Emma Prudden

Finance and Accounting
Emma is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Co-Director of Education and Student Experience within the Department of Finance and Accounting.
Emma is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), having qualified in 2007. Prior to joining academia, she gained extensive professional experience in a range of accounting and finance roles within professional practice before progressing to Finance Director. This industry background informs her teaching, enabling her to bring practical, real-world perspectives into the classroom.
Emma teaches across both undergraduate and degree apprenticeship programmes. She is the module lead for several modules, including Financial Accounting B on the BSc Accounting and Finance programme, together with Preparing Financial Statements, Taxation, and UK Financial Reporting on the Accounting Finance Manager Degree Apprenticeship programme.
