Wahyu is postgraduate researcher at the Business School, University of Exeter, funded by the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP RI). His primary research interests lie in social entrepreneurship, workplace spirituality, and Islamic business and management, with a particular focus on understanding how religious beliefs influence entrepreneurial processes.

In addition to his academic endeavors, Wahyu has been an active educator at the Takwinul Muballighin Islamic Boarding (pesantren) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia (currently on study leave). His rich experiences in the Islamic boarding system and academic research drive his exploration of the relationship between Islamic principles and entrepreneurial activities.

While based in the United Kingdom, Wahyu remains committed to his role as chairman of the Noble Wisdom Initiative Foundation, an organization focused on social programs and educational development in rural Indonesia. His work exemplifies a dedication to fostering societal progress through education and entrepreneurship.
