About me:
Stephanie joined the University of Exeter Business School in 2019 and works as a Senior Lecturer in Professional Practice on the Degree Apprenticeship Programmes for the Finance and Senior Leader Apprenticeships.
Currently, Stephanie's primary focus is as a Senior Lecturer in Professional Practice on the Investment Operations Specialist and Financial Services Professional. She is Module Convenor for BEF1014DA Professional Practice and Module Lead for BEF2106DA Advanced Professional Practice. She is also passionate about sustainability, diversity and inclusion and is contributing to the "Greener, Healthier, Fairer" Degree Apprenticeship working group.
Stephanie has worked within post-16 education for over 20 years and held management and teacher education roles for many of these. Her specialism is Academic English and Applied Linguistics.
Prior to working at the university, she worked as a Development Adviser for the Quality Improvement Agency (QIA) “Skills for Life Improvement Programme”, providing strategic guidance to organisations specialising in apprenticeships.
Prior to teaching, Stephanie worked in the banking sector in London at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the Office of the General Counsel.
Away from her desk, Stephanie volunteers at the University of Exeter Community Garden. She is also a friend of Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra who work in partnership with the University of Exeter to bring creative opportunities to Devon, focussing on access, inclusion, health and wellbeing.
