Dr Onyekachi Onuoha is a lecturer in Project Management at the at the faculty of Environment, Science and Economy, University of Exeter where he inspires students and equips them with knowledge and skills needed to manage projects, programmes and portfolios as well as lead national and international business operations. He has lectured in Universities in UK and internationally including University of Bedfordshire, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Benue State University, among others. Onyekachi is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and currently sits on the Volunteer Delivery Group of the Association for Project Management (APM) which coordinates all the volunteer activities across the chartered project management professional body. With both industry and academic experience, he has expertise in driving outcomes and benefits of projects, programmes and portfolios. His empirical research outputs have helped to significantly solve industry-based problems and shape public policy. His research interest spans across project management, strategic management, social development, AI and business management, transformative learning. He prioritises excellent leadership in organisations to drive benefits realisation. He has great leadership skills and his training in the Public Leaders Programme at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford has further broadened his competence in leadership. He is a full member of the Association for Project Management. He has a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Salford, Manchester and a PhD in Cooperative Economics and Management.
