Department of Management

Lucrezia Nava is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Sustainable Business Management at the University of Exeter Business School. She holds a PhD in Management from Esade Business School, Barcelona. In her research, she investigates how organizational members interpret and respond to natural environmental stimuli, such as climate change or natural disasters. Her papers have been published in Journal of Management StudiesBusiness Ethics Quarterly, and others. Her work has also been featured in media outlets such as the Financial Times.

 

Before joining the University of Exeter Business School, Lucrezia was an Assistant Professor of Management and Sustainability at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, The City University of New York, an Assistant Professor at Bayes Business School, City University of London, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Management and International Management from Bocconi University in Milan and a CEMS Master’s degree in International Management.

 

She sits on the Editorial Review Board of the journal Organization & Environment and is a co-organizer of GROReG (Group for Research on Organizations and the Natural Environment). She was also the co-founder of the Sustainability PhD Community and served as an elected member of the Academy of Management Organizations and the Natural Environment Division Communication Team. She also sits on the Board of Directors of Project for People, an NGO based in Milan.
