Mrs Jo Fellows

Jo joined the University of Exeter as an Academic Mentor in February 2025, following a career as a senior leader and HR professional in local government. Jo has worked at local and national level with local authorities, both strategically and operationally.

Jo's passion is apprenticeships and she established post Levy arrangements in two councils, as well as being a member of the South West Apprenticeship Ambassador Network. She has also been an apprentice herself, having completed her MBA and Senior Leader Apprenticeship with the University of Exeter in 2022, so she understands the challenges of completing studies alongside the day job.

Jo is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
