About me:

In 2021, Janet joined the Department of Management at the University of Exeter Business School. Before that, she completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Chicago. In her research, Janet focuses on the interplay between language use, thinking, decision-making and behaviour in the contexts of sustainable consumption, prosocial behaviour, health, and ethics. The ultimate goal of Janet's experimental research is to promote better decision-making and behavioural change.

 

Janet's work has been published in leading journals including Nature Sustainability (impact factor: 27.16), Journal of International Business Studies (ABS4*), Cognition (ABS4), Journal of Experimental Social Psychology (ABS4), Risk Analysis (ABS4), Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied (ABS4), and Journal of Experimental Psychology: General (ABS4).

 

Janet supports the University of Exeter Business School as the Research and Impact Lead of the Business Strategy and Marketing Group, the Onboarding Champion of the Management Department, and one of the Departmental Research Ethics Officers. Additionally, Janet is a coordinator of the Business School Mentorship Program, the faculty representative for the University Digital Reputation Research and Impact Group, and one of the academic leaders of the Social Inequality Grand Challenges.
