About me:

I have been a lecturer at the University of Exeter Business School since January 2020.  Over 6 years experience.  FHEA qualified.

I have designed and led modules in HR Analytics at master's level, and currently lead a number of modules focused on introducing undergraduates to business and management, including teaching on some of the largest modules and programmes in the University of Exeter such as all first year accounting and finance students on an accredited module, and also teaching non-Business School students about business and management and encouraging them to see how their discipline can be viewed from a business and management lens.  Subjects covered include ethics, sustainability and circular economy, technology, globalisation and change, people management, leadership and performance management, business strategy and stakeholder management, as well as social and demographic change.

I have also been Deputy Programme Director on the MSc HR Management programme and the Deputy Programme Director on the BSc Business and Management, and the BSc Business Studies.

My background in mathematics and IT startups, having established my own successful businesses and also worked more recently in public sector environments before achieving a Masters in HR Management before becoming a lecturer mean I have lived experience that i share with students, and understanding of how and where business students should leverage technological innovation, academic basis, and skills including critical thinking, creativity and adaptation to meet the challenges presented by rapidly changing global environments.
