Zahra is a lecturer in marketing communications at the University of Exeter Business School. Prior to joining the University of Exeter, she worked at Birkbeck, University of London, Kingston University, and Newcastle University, where she taught consumer behaviour, digital marketing, and international business modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

 

Her PhD research explored responsible technology use and how modern consumers are reclaiming control over their digital life. She is predominantly a qualitative researcher with a focus on netnography but has experience using big data tools to scrape and analyse large datasets.
