Dr Francesca Pallotti

Francesca joined the University of Exeter in May 2024. Previously, she was Associate Professor at the Networks and Urban Systems Centre, University of Greenwich (UK). She holds a PhD from the Catholic University (Italy) and a MSc from the University of Birmingham (UK). She has been postdoctoral researcher and Swiss National Science Foundation fellow at the University of Lugano (Switzerland), where she is currently an international fellow of the Social Network Analysis Research Center (SoNAR-C). Her previous professional experience includes consulting for public service organizations and authorities. She held visiting positions at the University of Melbourne (Australia), the University of Southern California (Los Angeles), and various Universities and Business Schools in Italy (Pisa, Pescara, Rome, Salerno). Her research has been published in leading international journals, such as the American Journal of Sociology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Social Networks, Organizational Research Methods, European Management Journal, and Regional Studies.
