About me:
Frank Donkor joined the Science, Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (SITE) department in 2021. Before joining Exeter Business School, he held the position of a lecturer in operations management at the University of Kent. He obtained a PhD in Management Science (with a focus on operations and supply chain management) from the University of Kent. He also holds an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Distinction) from University of Westminster, BA Industrial Art (First Class) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)- Ghana, Certificate in Advanced Survey Data Analysis and Survey Experiments from University of Essex, and MRes in Supply Chain Management. He is a recipient of the ESRC IAA/SeNSS Business Boost Fund – 2018 and has significant years of experience teaching (PG and UG) at the tertiary level and working in the field of logistics, operations, and supply chain both in Ghana and the UK. Frank Donkor is currently the Programme Director of MSc in Operations Management.

Frank’s research largely focuses on the area of operations, supply chain sustainability and management, leadership styles in supply chains’, and business analytics. Frank’s Ph.D. thesis titled “Understanding the supply chain integration-supply chain sustainability relationship: a study of the pharmaceutical industry in the UK and Ghana“ specifically covered the constructs, supply chain integration, supply chain sustainability, external uncertainty, patient satisfaction, leadership styles and product innovation. Although the focus was on the pharmaceutical industry in both developed (the UK and Europe) and developing (Ghana and West Africa) countries, his research generally covers a wide range of industries in both developed and developing countries' contexts. He also adopts both advance quantitative and qualitative approaches for his research.
