Dr Fernando Correia

Fernando has joined the Business School in 2022, as a Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Business for the Degree Apprenticeships and Executive Education programmes.  Fernando has more than 20 years of professional and academic experience in sustainability related fields. Having started his career as an ecologist and later on development work in the third sector, he started his research career with a PhD on the implementation of sustainable tourism in Protected Areas across Europe. Since then he has worked in academia and consultancy in areas like the low carbon economy, sustainable procurement, leadership for sustainability, sustainable tourism, wellbeing and ecosystem services, and skills for sustainability, amongst others.
