About me:

Emma Wood joined the University of Exeter as a Lecturer in 2018, teaching marketing at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. With her practical experience and focus on digital and environmental communications, Emma integrates a global, ethical perspective with real-world skills.

Emma came to the university after a 20 year career in communications, working for multi-national organisations including La Poste, PHS Group and DHL. More recently, Emma has worked in a number of senior consultancy posts specialising in sustainability and environmental communications for clients as varied as clothing manufacturers, specialist recyclers and the NHS.

 

As an experienced marketing practitioner, Emma led the development of the MSc Digital Marketing and is now the Programme Director, bringing a clear focus on employability and future skills to the Programme.

 

Emma is currently the Director of Education for the Busines, Strategy & Marketing Group, which delivers programmes including the BSc Marketing & Managament, MSc Marketing, MSc Management and MSc International Business.
