Dr Diego Bermudez (he/him)

I am the Research and Impact Fellow for the Digital Innovation for the Circular Economy (DICE) Network+ programme. I previously worked at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation as a Senior Researcher and Project Manager, leading AI-driven circular economy initiatives, such as the development of a circular economy market signal with BlackRock, and developing strategic frameworks, like the development of a circular economy loan with Intesa SanPaolo and looking at scaling circular business models in the Fashion ReModel with several European retailers in a pre-competitive collaboration agreement.

With over 10 years of experience across finance, manufacturing, and IT, I have collaborated with industry, academia, and government. My main expertise includes systems thinking, sustainable finance, risk management, and data analytics. I hold a PhD in Digital Business Systems Resilience for Sustainability from Cardiff University and a dual MEng in Systems Engineering & MBA from Cornell University.
