Ali Mammadov

I am an interdisciplinary researcher and higher education professional with expertise in sustainability, innovation, supply chains, data analysis, and programme development. I completed my PhD in Business and Management at the University of Exeter and also hold an MBA from the University of Liverpool.

My research examines how eco-innovation, digital transformation, supply-chain capabilities, and organisational characteristics influence firm performance. My work has been published in Business Strategy and the Environment, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. 

I have contributed to research projects involving sustainability evidence reviews, research-team diversity, interdisciplinarity, and data quality. My methodological experience includes systematic literature reviews, evidence synthesis, data cleaning and validation, indicator development, regression analysis, and mediation and moderation modelling. I use Excel, STATA, R, and Python to translate complex evidence into clear and decision-relevant insights.

Alongside my research, I have experience in university teaching, curriculum development, academic quality, and programme coordination. I designed an undergraduate Management Studies curriculum for Garabagh University and have been appointed Deputy Dean, with responsibilities relating to academic leadership, programme quality, coordination, and institutional development.
