Adrian is the Head of Workplace Learning at the Centre for Degree Partnerships, focusing on the consistency and best practices across all degree apprenticeship programs at the University of Exeter. His role centres on developing effective mentoring approaches for apprentices and overseeing some of the regulatory requirements related to them. The aim of the centre is to cultivate a robust community of practice for apprenticeships across various faculty programs.
Adrian joined the University in 2020, bringing with him 25 years of experience in financial services as a senior leader. His expertise lies in operational excellence, coaching, and mentoring as well as creating an engaged and enabled workforce. He is an experienced keynote speaker and talks about the importance of resillience in personal achievement at work, study and our personal lives. As an ultramarathon runner, he has much to share about how to plan, focus and overcome failure to achieve personal success.
Having spent much of his career leading large teams in the private sector, Adrian's values and focus are very much aimed towards student experience and employee satisfaction and engagement.
