Overview

Ping Sun is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at University of Exeter Business School. She has a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Alliance Manchester Business School. Before joining the Business School in July 2023, Ping held a Lecturer position at University of Liverpool Management School. 

Ping’s main research areas are corporate securities issuance, mergers and acquisitions, short selling and corporate social responsibility. She holds publications in journals including Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and Journal of Corporate Finance. Ping has presented her work at major internal conference and acts as a reviewer for several journals in the field.
