Mrs Emma Prudden
Senior Lecturer
Finance and Accounting
Emma is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Co-Director of Education and Student Experience within the Department of Finance and Accounting.
Emma is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), having qualified in 2007. Prior to joining academia, she gained extensive professional experience in a range of accounting and finance roles within professional practice before progressing to Finance Director. This industry background informs her teaching, enabling her to bring practical, real-world perspectives into the classroom.
Emma teaches on modules across the degree apprenticeship programmes. She is the module lead for several modules, including Preparing Financial Statements, Taxation, and UK Financial Reporting on the Accounting Finance Manager Degree Apprenticeship programme.
