Sebastian Kripfganz is a Senior Lecturer in Econometrics at the University of Exeter Business School. Prior to joining the university in 2015, he completed his doctoral studies at Goethe University Frankfurt in Germany. Previously, he received an Economics diplom from the University of Mannheim. He can also look back to 19 months of professional experience in the Economics Department of Bayerische Landesbank.

 

His international experience includes a research visit at Michigan State University on invitation by Professor Jeffrey Wooldridge and a short-term consultancy in the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management Network of The World Bank in Washington, DC. He has also been invited as a Visiting Associate Professor to Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan.

 

Dr Kripfganz represents the Economics department in the university's Open Research Network, manages the department's discussion paper series, and currently organises the Econometrics research seminar series. He is also a co-organiser of econometrics workshops by the Business School's Research Methods Centre.
