Scott is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Economics at the University of Exeter. His research interests include behavioural economics and applied econometrics. He will be visiting the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne between March and June 2025. He will be on the academic job market in 2024-2025.
Scott's research currently focuses on behavioural biases in belief formation and belief updating. He uses large-scale observational datasets to understand how individuals make decisions under uncertainty. He also works on projects related to dynamic panel data and novel statistical biases.
