About me:
Alessandro joined LEEP in March 2023 to work on Net Zero Plus and Land-Climate Programme. He previously worked as a Junior Researcher at the Basque Centre for Climate change (BC3) in Spain on low carbon mobility transition [2017-2022] and as a research assistant at the International Centre for Climate Governance (ICCG) in Venice [2014-2016].
He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of the Basque country [2022], a MSc in Spatial transport and environmental economics from the VU Amsterdam University [2016] and a BSc. In Business economics from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice [2014].
Tasks:
- Cost-benefit and Evidence gaps analysis of different Net Zero transition pathways for 2050 in the Agriculture and Forestry Land use domain
- Co-design and facilitate a programme of group discussions, interviews and surveys with partners to elicit needs and priorities for the Net Zero Plus project

- Natural capital evaluation
- Low carbon transition and consumer decision making in the transport and household energy domains.
- Socio-economic and behavioural determinants of adoption of energy efficient technology.
