Dr Lisa Grover

Lisa is the programme director on the Senior People Professional apprenticeship and the MSc International Business (online) programmes. She also leads modules on the Senior Lecturer apprenticeship programme. She originally joined the Business School in 2018 as an Academic Mentor, supporting apprentices with creating their portfolios of work-based evidence for the Senior Leader Masters Degree Apprenticeship programme.
She has a mixed background in both industry and academia. She is a senior Human Resources professional, with specialist experience in the areas of HR systems, analytics, organisational change and reward. She has held positions in the higher education and third sectors, and is currently a director of a multi-academy trust. Her PhD is in philosophy and she has previously held both teaching and research positions in this area. Her research interests centre upon the application of ethical theory to business and leadership challenges.
She is passionate about the application of learning in the workplace and ethical approaches to HR and leadership.
