Rossana joined the University of Exeter in 2019, after nearly 20 years of lecturing at the University of Plymouth. She is currently Programme Director for the BSc in Business Management and the BSc in Business Studies and she is an MBA/SLDA cohort lead.
Previously, she worked in HRM both in Brussels and in Italy.
She received her Ph.D. in Business and Management from the University of Plymouth, with a thesis focussed on exploring the HRM policies and practices of Finnish MNCs in Italy, aiming at identifying the inter-play between country-of-origin and host-country effect.
She had previously gained her MAHRM degree in Trieste, Italy.
Her research focuses on issues related to IHRM policy transfer and contextual impacts of cultural and institutional backgrounds of PC and HC on HRM systems across countries.
